Medium To Heavy Foot Traffic
Walkways, patios, residential pool decks, and other non-vehicular exposed traffic areas should be sealed with the appropriate sealer to resist wear and protect areas without the overkill of a solvent-based sealer.

Sealing Systems - General Information
Super-Krete requires that every surface be sealed. Sealing protects surfaces against abrasion and wear, it enriches the color intensity of overlays, stains and paints, and they also add sheen to the surface that ranges from satin to high gloss. Sealers block the penetration of dirt, oil, grease, chemicals, and stains making the surface easier to clean and maintain. They will also prevent the intrusion of water and chlorides, and also minimize freeze-thaw damage. To obtain all these great benefits however, you must select the RIGHT sealer for the job.

Vertical Surface Sealers
Even walls and vertical surfaces require a protective sealer to keep water and moisture from entering the surface, and to provide simple maintenance against dirts, chemicals and water deposits.
|
Light Foot Traffic
For light foot traffic areas, it is recommended that you protect all overlay surfaces with a clear sealer that will be durable enough to withstand such traffic as well as provide simple maintenance and add luster to color.
|
Heavy Foot Traffic
It is always recommended to your overlay floor with a clear sealer that will provide luster, simple maintenance and ultimate protection for years to come.
|
Vehicular Traffic
Today's tires are made of many of the same components used in the sealers used to protect overlayments on concrete. Because of this hot tire pickup can be an issue where there is vehicular traffic. Super-Krete's recommended sealers for vehicular traffic are resistant to hot tire pickup.
